Registration Fee
An annual registration fee of $45.00 per family is charged to cover administrative costs such as mailings, insurance, handbooks, and rehearsals. Registration fees are non-refundable.

Tuition Policy
Tuition fees cover participation in weekly dance lessons, a costumes for two performance (the year-end Gala costume is yours to keep), inclusion in performances, a media fee (photos and a digital download of our year-end Gala), and a registration fee. All fees include HST.

**Please note, that there is a $75.00 fee for NSF cheques.
** Installment payments are due by the 20th of each month. Payments received after this date will incur late fees.**
Withdrawal Policy:

If your dancer decides not to continue, please notify us in writing promptly. There is a $65.00 administrative fee for all early withdrawals.

​Studio Policies
To maintain a productive and respectful environment, we have established the following studio policies:

Class Interruptions: Parents and students are kindly requested not to interrupt classes in session. If you need to speak to your dancer, as the receptionist for assistant.

Food, Drinks, and Gum: For the cleanliness and safety of our studio, food, drinks (except water bottles), and gum are not permitted.

Communication Protocol: Please refrain from contacting educators directly via phone, email, or direct messaging. Any questions or concerns should be directed to the receptionist, director, or through the studio's official email or phone number.

Positive Environment: We uphold a policy of mutual respect. Avoid speaking negatively about instructors, students, or parents from any studio. Any questions and concerns can be brought to the attention of the director.

Outstanding Fees: Dancers with outstanding fees for more than one month will have their classes discontinued until the account is brought up to date.

Respect for Instructors: All dancers are expected to show respect for their instructors at all times.

Social Media Policy
Use of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, blogging, and other online social media platforms is an important part of sharing our growth and engagement with the community. This policy is intended to provide Just Dance parents and dancers with use these guidelines to eliminate any confusion concerning the use of social media.

We encourage parents and dancers to engage and promote their positive experiences at Just Dance on Social Media. We will communicate in a professional manner and expect all parents and dancers will do the same. We will post photos/videos from special events and classes.

You DO NOT have permission to reveal any information that compromises Just Dance, its staff or any of its customers.

You MUST NOT share personal information on social media about the director, Just Dance staff, other students or their families, or anything that is proprietary and/or confidential to them or Just Dance.

You cannot claim or imply that they are speaking on behalf of Just Dance.

You must never post anything that could compromise the self-esteem of students who attend Just Dance.

If you choose to post videos of class or rehearsals, you must not post classes or choreography in their entirety; Just Dance owns the copyright to all classes and choreography.

You must not post negative comments about studio activities such as competitions, conventions, and performances or about the directors of those events.
​Attendance Policy
Regular attendance is essential for the progress and success of every dancer. It also ensures that every dancer can fully benefit from the learning and rehearsal process, contributing to their overall growth and success. Please adhere to the following guidelines:

Attendance Expectation: All dancers are expected to attend their scheduled classes consistently.

Notification: If your dancer will not be attending class for any reason, please notify the studio by 2 pm on the day of the class.

Importance of Attendance: Each class contributes to the educational journey of our dancers. Missing a class may hinder a dancer's progress compared to their peers.

Choreography Rehearsals: During the months of November & December, and March to June, choreography for our shows will be taught and rehearsed. It is crucial for dancers to feel confident with the choreography to be performed.
Media Use Rights and Permission
At the time of registration, all parents/guardians are required to sign a waiver regarding Media Use Rights and Permission. This document outlines guidelines for the use of dancers’ images in various media while ensuring the privacy of personal information.
The waiver reads as follows:

"I give my consent and agree that Just Dance and its agents have the right to take photographs, videotape, or digital recordings of my child or myself, and to use these in any and all media, now and hereafter known. I do hereby release to Just Dance and its agents all rights to exhibit this work in print and electronic form publicly or privately, and to use its form for marketing purposes. I waive any rights, claims, or interest I may have to control the use of my, or my child(ren)’s identity or likeness in whatever media used. I understand that my, or my child(ren)’s name will be kept private and not be released in any written form. I understand that there will be no financial or other remuneration for recording me, either for initial or subsequent transmission or playback. Agreement to all waivers is included upon your dancer(s) registration."

Waiver of Liability
By enrolling my child(ren) in programs at Just Dance, I hereby give my consent for their participation. I understand that dance, tumbling, stretching, and related activities involve inherent risks of injury. I acknowledge and fully assume responsibility for these risks.
I understand that Just Dance aims to prioritize the safety and protection of participants, including myself and/or my child(ren). In consideration for allowing participation in activities with Just Dance, I hereby waive any and all rights or causes of action against Tracy Lowe and/or Just Dance for any injuries or damages that may occur to my child(ren) or myself while under their supervision or control. This waiver encompasses Just Dance's employees and independent contractors.
Dress Code Requirements
At Just Dance, we maintain a dress code to foster concentration and a sense of unity among our dancers. Uniformity in dancewear allows instructors to assess technique implementation, alignment, and other critical aspects of dance training.

Studio Uniform: A portion of the studio uniform is included with your tuition and serves as the base for performance costumes.

Accessing the Dress Code: An updated copy of our Dress Code is available on our website at www.justdancenorthumberland.com/dress-code and through our App.

Dance Bag: Dancers should carry their dancewear, shoes, and belongings in a designated dance bag. Please label the bag and all contents with your dancer’s name.

Care of Dancewear: Dance shoes should never be worn outside. Dancewear should be kept in good repair and laundered regularly.

Hair Requirements: Dancers are required to wear their hair tightly secured and styled away from the face; a neat bun is preferred for ballet classes.

Personal Items: Watches, jewelry, and safety pins should not be worn during class.
Maintaining these standards ensures a conducive environment for learning and performance at Just Dance.
